At the beginning of the year we were lucky enough to be invited to Copenhagen to visit the Carl Hansen factory in Odense, just outside of Copenhagen. A collaboration between Carl Hansen and Twentytwentyone, the visit was designed to provide us with the knowledge and insight behind the craftsmanship of Carl Hansen furniture.

It was amazing to see some of our favourite chairs in production and watch the craftsmen at work. A number of Carl Hansen pieces are used throughout our collections. Carl Hansen’s merticulous attention to detail and use of high quality materials compliments the Make and Place approach.
